The Path Of Least Resistance

The Path Of Least Resistance

The cold water engulfs my body

In the distance, the unbounded ocean

River always flows to ocean

Near the banks, rocks and debris bruise my limbs

A safe but bumpy, friction full ride

A path of resistance

I abandon the safety of the banks and drift into the unknown

Into the slipstream and away we go

On the path of least resistance

The current is strong

Moving fast

I have no choice but to let go

To surrender to its frictionless flow

And the more I let go

The less I can determine the boundaries

of what is me, and what is river

Except now it is not river

It is ocean

One unbounded ocean

Consciousness in motion

Of Self experiencing Self

From the path of least resistance
